On April 15, 2011, Pentax made a significant expansion into Chinese market by opening its first China ofice in Shanghai - PENTAX MEDICAL CO., LTD. (PMSH), which is also as the headquarter of Asia Pacific Region.China is rapidly developing into one of the primary medical markets in the world and Pentax will continue to increase its direct presence to better serve its market needs.We are committed to introducing the most advanced techoology for diagnoses and treatment into the Chinese market, and helping Chinese patients by improving service quality and the use of high-end products through training and educational coorperation with hospitals and doctors. To support this effort we also plan to establish local clinical training and service center.
