Kufner Textile Manufacturing (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. is a wholly owned subsidiary the German Kufner Group. Since 1862, it has produced high-quality fabric materials/interlinings, boasting 150 years of history. During such a long history, high-quality products made by the Kufner Group were chosen by a lot of world-famous brands including Armani, Hugo Boss, Marks & Spencer, etc. It is not only because the Kufner has produced good and reliable products but also because the Kufner Group has fully dedicated itself, for the last 150 years, to leading and developing new technology, closely following the trend of the garment industry and innovating products. Currently, it possesses more than 100 patents. For example, it was the Kurfner Group that developed the adhesion technology in the 1960s that are used by many manufacturers today. In the 1970s, it invented Double Spot Coating technology and acquired the patent. In 2005, it obtained another patent for Double Spot Extended Safety. Technology innovation of the Kufner Group can be seen not only shown from its production technology but also from its German licenses in producing machines. Technology innovation of the Kufner Group comes from its research and development of machinery, which distinguishes the Kufner from other Industry Fellows.
In March 2006, Kufner Textile Manufacturing (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. was officially settled in No.1588, Canggong Road, Fengxian Sub-Zone Shanghai Chemical Industry Park. So far, the Company has adhered to dominant positions and good traditions of the Kufner Group, showing its competitiveness. The Company occupies 20000m3 land, with a total investment of 9.1 million euros. It provides interlinings for fashion garments of all series to clients from all over the world and further develops industrial textiles used for automobiles, home textiles, construction materials and electric appliances.
