In 1967 Gum Base Co. was established as a strategic production unit of Perfetti.

1994年胶基公司开始拓展亚洲的业务，并将总部设在上海
In 1994 Gum Base Co. founded its Asian business unit, Gum Base Shanghai, which manufactures and distributes gum base throughout the Asia region.

2012年胶基公司在闵行区不凡帝一厂内设立了新车间,目的是为了:
Year 2012: new GBS Factory in Minhang area, in the building formerly occupied by PVM CN, in order to:

1) 建立一个完全符合*新食品卫生标准的工厂(具有中华人民共和国质量标准证书/出口许可证)
Set up a factory fully compliant with latest Hygiene Std (PRC Quality Standard cert. / export license)
2) 建立和扩大生产力,提高胶基公司的竞争力(风险评估-相互依存)
Capacity augmentation & establishment of production site that could be reciprocal to GBC (risk assessment – group interdependence /B.I.)
3)提高生产技术/工作环境的条件
Improve technological/ergonomical conditions
4）加快物流速度以提高集团的协作效应
Improve logistics conditions and gain further from group synergies
