What role you will play in our team

Join us in helping grow our ProxximaTM polyolefin thermoset system business. We are now commercializing in China a range of resins that have been proven in field trials to outperform the conventional materials used in polymer composites have the ability to replace metal fstructural parts used in vehicles.

We are looking fan experienced professional with a proven ability to engage the Chinese automotive industry. Working with both the OEMs their suppliers you will identify manage development opportunities through to commercialization. You will typically have 10 years of experience in promoting thermoset composites to the automotive sector. Of particular relevance will be experience in EV battery boxes hydrogen tanks, structural parts such as pillars impact beams

Positions are available at both the ExxonMobil office in Shanghai the office in Guangzhou. Working as part of the global team, strong English language skills are required.


What you will do

1. Develop an understanding of the broad regulatory environment technology developments impacting the zero emissions powertrain (batteries/hydrogen tanks) in China
2. Identify co-development opportunities with OEM/suppliers define the product needs
3. Manage development programs through technical qualification to negotiation conclusion of sale

About you

Preferred Qualifications/ Experience
1. 7-10 years in the composites industry
2. Track record of managing automotive projects in China

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Develop execute strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets expour client base in Japan the APAC region.
• Identify pursue new business opportunities through intensive networking, market analysis, relationship building.
• Engage with decision-makers at various levels to understtheir business needs present tailored IT solutions.
• Close news IT as a Service, procurement as a service workplace transformation service deals inder to overachieve the ambitious growth targets
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Monitmarket trends, competitactivities, industry developments to stay ahead of the curve.
• Prepare deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, contracts.
• Track report on sales performance metrics in Sales Force CRM, providing insights recommendations fcontinuous improvement.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a commercial technical field of study preferred.
• Several years of experience in IT sales, preferably in the B2B sector.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets driving business growth.
• Strong understanding of value-based selling methodologies strategic sales approaches.
• Excellent communication interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Proactive, self-motivated, results-oriented with a hunter mentality.
• Ability to work independently as part of a team, demonstrating strong collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with the Japanese market business culture is highly desirable.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Japanese is a plus.
